30THREADS - most innovative resource I've seen in awhile!

The thing that sets the new site 30THREADS apart from the massive wave of web 2.0 creativity - is that it's a vehicle for local talent to grow, collaborate and feed the next level of creativity through centralization.

Ginny Skalski and Wayne Sutton have managed to focus their wonder-twin powers and activate what I see as a brilliant medium for the local online community.

Local blogs are scanned for interesting and informative posts that are of value to readers. For years most of these posts went by unnoticed by the majority of local readers, because if you are not personally aware of the blog - you have no idea what's being posted.
But - through 30THREADS - that post is in the spotlight and available to readers who would never think to look for the blog it appears in.

Basically, Ginny and Wayne hand pick 30 posts from local blogs to showcase on the site. The posts are categorized and searchable - and even fed through RSS for your reading pleasure. There is no limit to the kind on innovation and progressive collaboration that can come from this.

If you're in the Raleigh / Durham area I highly suggest checking 30THREADS out. Even if you're not in the area, you'll find it a worthwhile add to your RSS reading list.
